Our mission
SpaceWonder turns the universe into a laboratory. Students, teachers, engineers and curious minds can explore the Solar System in 3D, follow real spacecraft, design their own vehicles, hunt for exoplanets and learn the physics that makes exploration possible.
What makes it different
- Real where possible. The ISS tracker, JPL Horizons spacecraft positions, the NASA Exoplanet Archive search, launch schedules and news all come from live public sources, with timestamps.
- Honest where not. When public telemetry does not exist, values are produced by a clearly labelled educational simulation. We never present synthetic data as real.
- Checkable physics. Every calculator shows its formula, assumptions and worked solution, and is covered by automated tests against published reference values.
- Built for everyone. Every page works on phones, with a keyboard and with a screen reader, and the essential information never depends on 3D graphics.
Independence
SpaceWonder is an independent educational project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by NASA, ESA, JAXA, ISRO, CSA or any other agency. Agency names are used only to identify missions and to credit data sources.
